The global supply chain continues to face unprecedented challenges, and the recent announcement of President Trump’s latest round of tariffs—followed shortly by a partial pause—has only added to the uncertainty. As an industry, we’ve weathered a series of significant disruptions over the past few years: the COVID-19 pandemic, Brexit, the global response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and now escalating trade tensions. Each event has reshaped the way we operate, and the landscape remains anything but predictable.
At Dalau, we remain fully engaged in monitoring and adapting to these changes. We’ve seen firsthand how tariffs and geopolitical shifts have strained global logistics and demand forecasting. In today’s environment, the traditional model of just-in-time ordering—so critical for efficiency and cost control—is being put to the test. Rapid changes in policy and trade barriers are making it increasingly difficult to plan with confidence.
To remain agile, we’ve had to adjust our purchasing strategies, scale back some orders, and work closely with our logistics partners to manage transportation costs in a volatile environment. While this introduces new challenges, we’ve also found opportunities to innovate. Our investments in data analytics and supply chain technology are helping us make smarter, faster decisions and maintain supply continuity wherever possible.
Looking ahead, Dalau is not merely reacting to change—we’re proactively redesigning aspects of our supply chain to build greater resilience and flexibility. This doesn’t mean simply relocating production. Rather, we’re focusing on improved forecasting, deeper supplier collaboration, and greater agility in our operations. We’re also exploring ways to re-route shipments and strengthen our logistics network in response to evolving trade policies.
While we are doing everything we can to maintain our high standards of service and delivery, we kindly ask for your understanding and patience during this period. There may be slight delays in deliveries over the coming months as we navigate these complex global disruptions. Rest assured, we will proactively communicate any potential impacts to your orders and provide timely updates. Additionally, our Key Account Managers are always available to assist you and answer any questions related to your product supply.
In light of these extraordinary circumstances, we respectfully request consideration in how on-time delivery performance is assessed over the next 12 months.
