CNC Operator – 5 Axis Milling

Key Responsibilities:

• Assigned to a machine(s) to operate safely, effectively and efficiently, whilst maintaining precision, accuracy & quality at all times.
• To consistently achieve and uphold the required output from the machine(s) in order to maintain schedule and achieve targeted despatch dates.
• Be responsible for in-process checks to Blue Print using a range of measuring equipment including metrology machines and gauges..
• To carry out routine maintenance and house-keeping duties within their capability level or in the of case of difficulty or anticipated delay, advise the Senior Setter(s) / Team Leader.
• To clean and deburr parts to customer specifications.
• Boxing or packaging of components, when required, to customer specifications.
• To carries out additional duties as requested by Senior Setter(s) / Team Leader 

Required Capabilities:

• Previous experience working in an engineering environment – production / manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Previous knowledge of CNC machining desirable

Objectives:

• Operate within the 5-axis machine shop, using a variety of 5-Axis vertical mills.
• Working as part of a team to maximise output and efficiency throughout the shop.

Salary: Dependent on experience
